When the Trail Lampoon announced the candidates for Charter Commission they put stars (*) adjacent of the trustees and mayor. Did you think that a bit odd? That put a bias into the report as though the candidates weren’t equal. Let it be a warning that the candidates are not equal. The Lampoon has a clear bias toward the town as evidenced by the new column given to the mayor at the beginning of an election campaign; this without offering equal space for other candidates. Candidates should demand that they get the same space or go to the state and file formal complaints.
