This just in. Estes Park votes against Home Rule! Light turnout, lack of interest, not understanding the issues because of laziness in educating onesself and the Town dictating how their employees should vote caused this outcome. Such things as "...hell, I'm retired, why should I vote?""If it ain't broke don't fix it.""I don't even get it so I guess I don't really care."
If this is the case, just remember that it was the Town that supposedly wanted Home Rule. They passed the ordinance in it's favor then didn't support it. If it does go down in flames it would be just another Town failure.
Can’t vote because you can’t find a parking spot? Why do you think it was planned for this time of year?
