Why would Bill Pinkham - candidate for mayor, and Chuck Levine - candidate for trustee, raise such a stink about the Board of Education using the citizen’s facilities to conduct a candidate forum? Why would they be concerned about the Board of Education legally indorsing a candidate? If there were objections shouldn't that come from the owners of the board room, the citizens of Estes Park, not political candidates?
Why did they use a town employee (town administrator) to hijack the political process and interfere with a separate elected authority? Control issues?
They do not understand that the board room belongs to the citizens of this town not them!!!
Why would they trample the Constitutional Rights of an elected Authority? Business as usual!
Because…they are sticklers for the law? We all know better than that!
Because…they would rather have those forums in executive session keeping all of us in the dark. That's more their style!
Both are reining trustees with serious opposition and they could skew the process? More likely!
The Board room is the only televised venue in town and they use it for their political advantage? True statement!
