Congratulations citizens of the valley you just expanded government imposed a tax on your selves but didn’t gain anything. This does not create more or better fire fighters, more or better equipment, better coverage, or more funds to fight fires, just one more board to keep track of, one more taxing body in the valley, just more politics with no accountability.
One has to wonder what the citizens of the Town of Estes Park were thinking. You voted to eliminate a voluntary fee from Citizens outside town limits by raising your own taxes. Bless You!
What are the towns plans for that million dollar pluss wind fall in their budget? What pet project do they have up their sleeve?
I feel so much closer to those folks in unicorporated Larimer County, now that we are one Big Happy Valley.
